Our household is back to some sort of normalcy after a busy couple of weeks. Isaac is back from his trip to Kansas and we are happy that our house isn't so quiet anymore. We took Isaac for his 2 year check up today and he seems to be a mostly healthy little boy. He is in the 90 percentile for height and weight (which means he's big - he's 36" tall!) and the 95 percentile for head circumference (I guess he inherited his daddy's big head!). The doctor wants him to improve his communication skills in the next couple months, so I guess we've got some things to work on. Only 1 shot today and Isaac was a brave boy - no tears! He just said "owww" really loud. What a tough guy!

Just saw this post about Isaac's check up..Don't worry too much about his language skills you guys. As much as we like to predict when children will reach certain milestones, the only thing that's certain is the order in which those milestones occur..not the tempo!! (Albert Einstein didn't say a word until he was 3!!)
