Butterflies....and spiders!

Last Saturday was a rare wet and rainy day so we decided to take the kids to the Butterfly Pavillion.  We had never been before and we all really enjoyed it.  Here are our little butterflies:

She held a tarantula, but Tessa wouldn't get anywhere near this guy!

Too long!

It's been way to long since I've seen my best friend Kristin.....almost 4 years actually.  She flew out from Pittsburgh to spend the weekend with us and it was so nice to catch up!  Kristin now has her own photography business and we were so happy that she took some newborn photos of Beatrix and family photos of all of us.  I can't wait to see how they turned out!  Hopefully it won't be so long before we get to see her again and that next time we can see her husband and kids too!! 

Bath time!

Beatrix got to take her first real bath the other night (her umbilical cord finally fell off!) and as you can see from the photos she had lots of helpers!  She didn't think much of the bath, she preferred being wrapped up warm and snug in the towel afterwards.  Here are a few photos of the big event!
