It's amazing how quickly those milestones sneak up on you the second time around...a couple of weeks ago I was working with Tessa on sitting up by herself and she just wasn't quite ready, she would have rather been laying down and playing. Today I thought I would try it again - and just like that it all clicked and she got it. She figured out that it's pretty fun to sit up and play with some of her toys. (And I happen to think she's pretty darn cute while she's doing it!)

Too cute. I can tell how tall she is because when we prop Ryan up in that position his short pudgy legs are about half the length of hers sitting there.
