Ski bum

We let Isaac try skiing for the first time this past week and he loved it! We just took him to the practice hill and worked with him for about an hour a day for a few days. The most important thing is that he had a blast doing it. Each time we headed back to the car he was not ready to go. We used a handy harness (it straps onto him like a backpack and has two leashes that you can use to guide him down the hill and make sure he doesn't get out of control) and a little strap that hooks the front of his skis together. Here is Isaac and daddy riding the "magic carpet".

This is the first day - once he finally figured out how to make a "wedge" with his legs.

By the third day he was ready to try the chair lift on the practice hill (he wanted to do that ever since he laid eyes on it on the first day).

Isaac ready to go down the hill on the last day.

And here's a short video of Isaac on the last day - trying it all on his own!
