Lately

August has been a month full of changes at the Nap house.  John recently left the firm he's been working for since he moved to Dallas all those years ago to start a new firm here in Denver with another architect friend.  We are so excited about this new opportunity and direction for his career.  With several contract projects already underway and several new projects on the horizon, Path21 Architecture is off to a great start!  If you're curious about the new firm, you can check them out at www.path21arch.com.  My career also is taking a new turn.  Today was my last day after 10 years with GES.  It hasn't been an easy decision, but quitting my job is one that we both truly believe will benefit our family.  I'm really looking forward to being home with the kids.  Isaac started full-day Kindergarten this week, another big adjustment in our house.  He loves his new school and is excited to get up and go every morning.  Even homework is fun right now.  As for Tessa, she is getting used to the new schedule too and I am looking forward to spending more one on one time with her while Isaac is in school.  Beatrix is growing and changing every day and recently starting rolling over.  I think it's not long until she's crawling all over the place. 

So that's just a quick update on the happenings around here lately....as usual things have been crazy, busy, but full of fun and love.  We wouldn't have it any other way!
