Camping!

We just got back from our camping trip on Sunday. After tackling the mountain of laundry, I'm finally getting around to posting some pics. We had a great time - spent 2 nights in the Grand Teton National Park and 5 nights at Yellowstone National Park. It was the first time camping with both kids, and we were glad that we rented a pop-up camper instead of trying to tent-camp it. I'm going to have to publish these photos in several posts, since there were so many good ones. Here are a few to get you going...

Tessa helping Daddy chop wood for the campfire. (Don't worry, she was HEAVILY supervised for this photo!) John has a photo somewhere of himself at this age doing this same exact thing!

Tessa enjoying Daddy's new hammock!

And then sharing it with her big brother!

We rode our bikes on a 5 mile trail to see this geyser (called Lone Star Geyser). It erupts every 3 hours or so. Unfortunately, we had just missed it, so we didn't wait around to see it again.

John and Isaac at the campground working on the campfire. (This is Isaac's new "cheese" pose.)

Ok - more to come later!!

Aren't pop-ups GREAT? We bought one right after we got married. Now we have what is called a hybrid trailer, basically a pop-up on steroids. We love it! Can't wait to see more pics.
