Surprise!

Yesterday John's niece, Emily (who is from the Netherlands, but is spending her senior high school year in Kentucky) arrived to spend a long weekend with us. What she didn't know is that her mom (Winnie) and sister (Hetty) planned a surprise trip from the Netherlands to spend the weekend here too! We had a lot of fun being in on the surprise and it truly was a surprise....Emily was asleep on the couch when John (who had to run an "errand") brought them home from the airport. I think she thought she was dreaming at first! We're headed up to the mountains for the weekend and are looking forward to spending a fun weekend together. I'll post some more photos of their visit sometime next week!
