Another weekend in Kansas

This past weekend we made another long drive to Kansas to help my Grandpa celebrate his 85th birthday. It was great to see so many of our relatives and to get to spend some time with Grant and Amber and their 2 kids, Finley and Parker. Here is Tessa with Parker (he's 6 weeks old already!).

Speed Racer

Now that the weather is warming up, one of Isaac's favorite things to do outside is ride his little cozy coupe down the driveway. Our driveway has just enough slope for him to get going pretty fast and our driveway doesn't end directly in the street - we share a larger common drive with 3 of our neighbors (kind of a little cul-de-sac) so it's pretty safe for him to take off from our garage, speed down the driveway, and crash in our neighbor's rock landscaping. Once he stops, he gets out, pushes the car back up the driveway to do it all over again, and again, and again!

Double Wide

This weekend we bought this used double jogging stroller from an ad on craigslist. Now that the weather has finally started acting like spring, I can take both of the kids for a walk in the stroller at the same time. Yesterday the weather was BEAUTIFUL so we went for a nice long walk, played in the park, and had a picnic. Isaac couldn't stop talking about our picnic for the rest of the day!
